Biography

Burges Salmon Richard heads the firm's corporate team having previously been head of its private equity team. Richard is a member of the firm's International Committee. He specialises in corporate advice, private equity, domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital markets (Official List and AIM). Richard's work focuses on complex corporate transactions and re-organisations with particular emphasis on the private equity sector. He has significant experience advising institutions, management and investee companies on buy-outs, buy-ins, development capital transactions and re-financings as well as exit events.
