Biography

Renato Giallombardo has developed a broad experience in M&A and private equity. He deals with a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including domestic and cross border joint ventures, buy-outs. He is the head of Venture Capital practice, set up under the name GOP4 Venture. He regularly advises domestic companies in their international transactions as well as multinational corporation investing in Italy. He has a strong international background being also the MENA Region Coordinator of the Firm. After his law degree at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza', he has studied Conflict of Laws at The Hague Academy in The Netherlands and at Queen Mary & Westfield College in London where he has passed the LL.M in Commercial and Corporate Laws. He regularly attends roundtables, conferences and congress as speaker. Renato joined the firm in 1992, being a partner since 2001. He is the Co-Head of the Private Equity Sector. He has set up the Bologna Office in 2002 and the Abu Dhabi Office in 2010. He is member of the Italian Bar Association since 1990. He speaks Italian, English and French. He has joined the Global Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprises in 2015.
