Biography

Paolo, native Italian, spent all his professional life in the Machine Tool Industry, with a strong link to German industry and collecting a wide experience on international markets. Besides Italian and English, he also speaks fluently German and Spanish. After over 20 years at “Trumpf” in Italy, he spent almost 5 years around the world working for “DMG MORI” in USA, based in Chicago, and for ”Bystronic” in Singapore and Australia (Melbourne). Back in Europe, he joined “Prima Industrie” in Turin HQ as a Vice President and has been also appointed Managing Director of the German subsidiary, responsible for “DACH” markets. Paolo has a deep knowledge of the metal manufacturing operational processes, with focus on sheet metal manufacturing systems, using laser technology and fully automated material flow and handling, very close, actually, to “Industry 4.0” basic principles. His strengths are about restructuring and developing market oriented Sales and Service structures, on national or international base, with a strong orientation on increasing revenues and margins but keeping always an attentive look at the “Customer’s point of view”.
