Biography
A recognised international business intelligence and risk expert, Nicholas has provided timely strategic advice to governments and corporates across Central & Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union (FSU) since the mid-1990s. He grew CNS Risk to a worldwide consultancy that today delivers information, analysis and risk advice to law firms, financial institutions, and companies operating in high-risk environments across the globe. With a meticulous approach and ability to simplify complex, multijurisdictional situations, Nicholas has more than twenty years of experience investigating large-scale fraud, corruption and corporate crime. He and his team are well versed in the demands of litigation and arbitration and have a proven success record in obtaining actionable intelligence and distinguishing evidence litigation teams can actually use. Marshalling an extensive global source network and utilizing experience with high-spec analysis technologies previously only available to government agencies, CNS Risk has grown a tenacious team that delivers open source intelligence and regular analysis to clients seeking to keep on top of issues impacting their business. A keen advocate for the role of intelligence and technology in the corporate sphere, he shares his experience frequently as a speaker at international conferences, and from time to time is a contributor to business and legal education programs around Europe & North America.
