Description
In April, the European Commission proposed European Union-wide protections for those who blow the whistle on misconduct in both the public and private sector - if legislated, it will mark the most significant development in this field in years. In central and eastern Europe and central Asia, the picture is less bright. This session will discuss the International Bar Association's recently published Whistleblower Protections: A Guide, and consider the future of whistleblower protections in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
