Biography

Sven Kreher is OneWorld’s co-founder and Commercial Director. His background includes financial restructuring, corporate risk assessment, environmental management and planning, renewable energy and clean tech market penetration strategies, and the development of sustainable strategies, due diligence and feasibility studies.Sven’s corporate finance and merchant banking experience is invaluable in the world of energy and climate finance. He brings expertise not only as a consultant in financial analysis and project finance, but also energy development and logistics. Prior to joining OneWorld, Sven led a South African Breweries team assessing logistics and distribution strategy. Previous work undertaken by Sven include the Madikwe game farm development that included leading negotiations with land owners, farming communities and local government, conservation and business development of the South African fish-farming industry, carbon market analysis for Nedbank, and the lead consultant on the financing component of the SA Wind Energy Programme (UNDP funded).
