Biography

Juan Diaz Laviada joined Advent in 2002 and is Chairman of the firm's Spanish operations. Juan was previously a founding partner and Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort Capital Spain, where he worked with Advent through a joint venture from 1996 to 2002. Prior to DrKC, Juan was a co-founder of Iberfomento, an independent Spanish M&A and private equity firm, and before that worked as a manager in the audit and consulting practice of Arthur Andersen. Juan has a degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE, an MBP from Keller School of Management, Chicago, and is a chartered accountant. Investments Juan has worked on 43 investments during his career including Alcala Farma, Alta Gestión, Euroloc, Jazztel, MAXAM, Parques Reunidos and Tinsa.
