Rainer Ohler

Biography

Rainer Ohler was appointed EVP Communications effective 1 July 2012. From 2006, he was Head of Public Affairs and Communications at Airbus, in charge of corporate communications, governmental affairs, the company’s security and environmental departments. Dr. Ohler served from 1992-1995 in the German Chancellery. Then he held positions as CEO executive assistant and Head of Media Relations at Daimler-Benz Aerospace (Dasa) from 1995 to 2000 and EADS – now Airbus – from 2000 to 2006. Rainer Ohler was born in Bonn, Germany in August 1961. He is a lawyer.
