Biography

Jean Kalicki is an independent arbitrator in NY and Washington, DC, specializing in investor-State and international disputes. Until 2016, she was Partner at Arnold & Porter LLP. She is an LCIA Vice President, a member of the ICCA Governing Board, ICC Commission, SICANA Board, AAA Council and ITA Executive Committee, and on the ICSID panel of arbitrators. She is a CIArb and CCA Fellow and long taught at Georgetown and AU law schools. She was Global Arbitration Review’s 2017 “Best Prepared/Most Responsive Arbitrator,” one of Law360’s 2016 “Five Most Influential Female International Arbitrators” and Chambers’ Band 1 Arbitrators, and Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” for Int’l Arb-Governmental in both NY (2017 & 2019) and DC (2016).
