Biography

Ronnie is a partner in our Employment Law and Benefits team, advising a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Ronnie has a strong focus on the hospitality, retail and luxury goods sectors, but also acts for various public sector clients. Ronnie develops strong working relationships at the highest level with clients and provides strategic advice on restructuring, re-organisation and general employment-related matters. He also regularly advises on industrial relations issues. He is an experienced litigator in the various employment law fora, including the Workplace Relations Commission and the Civil Courts. Ronnie is the go-to employment lawyer for various international clients like Ralph Lauren, Boyne Valley, Dell, Xilinx, Transitions Optical (Essilor Group), BOC Gases, Danaher Corporation and Whirlpool/Indesit. He is recognised both by his clients and by international legal directories and as a leading employment lawyer who provides strategic, pragmatic and proactive advice. Ronnie is a fluent speaker of French and advises numerous French companies with subsidiaries in Ireland in relation to employment law issues. He heads up the office’s “French Desk” advising French clients on all legal issues arising in the Irish jurisdiction.
