Biography

Mr. Triana is a partner and the head of the Litigation and Patent Department of the Law Firm TRIANA, URIBE & MICHELSEN, in Bogotá, Colombia. He has practiced in the field of industrial and intellectual property law for thirty (30) years. He runs the litigation department and has long played prominent roles in the country’s most significant intellectual property disputes. Mr. Triana has extensive experience in trademark and patent related prosecution, intellectual property, domain name and unfair competition litigation. He has been counsel in major litigation and several of the most well-known cases in Colombia, regarding these fields.
