Biography

Nicola Saccardo, partner of Maisto e Associati, is an Italian lawyer based in the London office. He holds a LL.M. in international tax law from Leiden University. He is a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, as well as its vice president and chair of its tax committee. He is a member of STEP, as well as a member of the International Client Global SIG Steering Committee of STEP and of the International Client London UK Satellite SIG Committee of STEP. He leads the EU tax law course at the LL.M. of the King's College in London. He is ranked as leading expert in legal directories. He is author of many publications and is frequent speaker at conferences. His areas of expertise include international and EU tax law, taxation of trusts, estates and HNWIs, and estate planning.
