Angela Calnan

Biography

Angela heads Collas Crill's multi-award winning trust law practice in Guernsey (STEP Legal Team of the Year (midsize) 2015/16) and leads the firm's Middle East Practice Group. She establishes, reorganises and terminates offshore dynastic structures (i.e. structures involving a combination of trusts, foundations and companies). Having lived and worked in the UAE for a number of years, those structures are often (but not exclusively) for Middle Eastern families and commonly involve a family business and UK/UAE residential real estate. Angela's work involves ensuring that the family business stays intact and that wealth transmits effectively.
