David has profound experience and is a world-recognized leading practitioners in China with respect to international trade remedies related to imports to U.S., EU, and PRC. His hands-on approach and ability to quickly understand a client’s business and operations has consistently enabled him to obtain the most favorable results in complex trade cases. David is one of the very few practitioners in China who has deep understanding and extensive experience in economic sanctions and export controls. His practice also covers the full spectrum of customs matters, including classification, valuation, country of origin, duty assessment, VAT refund, free trade zones and bonded warehouses, import licensing, and export controls, customs audits and investigations, as well as criminal smuggling investigations.
