Biography

Alison Hook is a director and co-founder of Hook Tangaza, an international consultancy offering research, advisory and operational support services to legal service providers, regulatory agencies and bar associations. Her main areas of research interest are: the trade and regulation of legal services, legal education and legaltech. Alison is currently chair of the International Bar Association’s Trade in Legal Services Committee and co-ordinator of the International Conference of Legal Regulators. She also serves as a member of the advisory board of Ulster University’s Centre for Legal Innovation. She has previously worked for the Law Society of England and Wales, the European Commission and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
