Biography

Francisco Müssnich is the founder of Barbosa Müssnich Aragão - BMA. He holds an amazing experience in a wide variety of subjects dealing with corporate and securities laws, M&A, hostile takeovers, and strategic advice in arbitrations both domestic and foreign, He is also an expert in cross border transactions with a very strong background in tax. He has an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (1979) and a Master in Regulatory Law from FGV Law School (2015). Author of Letters to a Young Lawyer (2005) and Insider Trading in Brazil (2017). He is a Professor of Corporate Law at PUC/RJ (since 1981) and at FGV Law School (since 2015) and Visiting Professor at Vanderbilt Law School, where he teaches International Mergers and Acquisitions (since 2010).
