Richard Furey

Biography

Richard Furey is a partner in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Furey focuses his practice on international and United States domestic asset and infrastructure finance including significant experience in the maritime sector. With over 24 years of experience in cross-border leasing and financing transactions, Mr. Furey regularly represents vessel owners, lenders and charterers in a wide range of leasing and finance transactions. Mr. Furey is a leader of Holland & Knight’s transportation and infrastructure sector group, is a member of the Maritime Law Association and has written on maritime liens. Mr. Furey is a licensed attorney in the US States of New York, Connecticut and Florida, and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
