Biography

Virginie Rozière, born on June 18, 1976 in Montpellier has been elected MEP in the France Southwest region at the 2014 European elections. She achieved her engineer training at the Ecole Polytechnique, that she joined in 1997, before going to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure in advanced techniques, in 2000. From 2010 to 2012, she was an administrator in 'Internal Market and Consumer Protection' committee to the European Parliament. 2017 she lead the European Parliament work on its resolution calling for a European legislation protection whistle-blowers. This work ultimately lead to a legislative proposal from the European Commission in 2018, for which Virginie Rozière is appointed rapporteur and successfully concluded the negotiation in 2019.
