Biography

Sarah joined Aviva in November 2016 and is currently Group, Head of Legal, Digital and Data Protection. To date, Sarah has led on introducing a new way to engage with the business that has legal as an equal partner at the table with a solutions driven approach to areas of digital product development not previously seen in financial services. An area of focus has been the use of customer data, in relation to: existing processing and its use in technology: leveraging commercial opportunities whilst protecting the business from regulatory risk. Sarah’s previous roles include supporting the creation of an online equity trading platform and leading on IT and privacy compliance in a media buying organisation as well as the insurance industry.
