Seema Shah

Biography

Seema Shah is a Partner in the Private Funds group of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Seema’s practice focuses on fundraisings for all types of private investment fund, with a particular focus on private equity, as well as bespoke managed account arrangements and co-investment vehicles. She also advises on the related structuring and terms of executive carried interest and co-investment arrangements. Seema has represented numerous sponsors of private investment funds, including Apax Partners, BC Partners, Coller Capital, CVC Capital Partners, CVC Credit Partners and Mid Europa. She joined Simpson Thacher in 2013, having previously spent over 18 months seconded to Apax Partners as in-house funds counsel for the duration of the Apax VIII fundraising.
