This session will take the form of a round table meeting and will look at some of the key findings from the workplace wellbeing research of the IBA Professional Wellbeing Commission. Based on global roundtable discussions, survey data and practitioner insights, the session will look at some of the key messages from our workplace wellbeing research. The research looks at why workplace wellbeing matters and the challenges and opportunities faced by law firms in managing wellbeing issues. The session will look at alternative strategies enabling law firms to move from a largely reactive approach to a more engaged and proactive approach to workplace wellbeing. It will also look at the role that Bar Associations and other organisations involved in the legal profession can play in supporting law firms in adopting this new approach.
