Description

The panel will discuss: (a) the amendments to India’s Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and its impact on India as a seat for international arbitrations; (b) comparative discussion on arbitrations seated in India with those seated in London/Singapore/etc.; (c) ad-hoc arbitration process in India (whether suitable for international arbitrations); and (d) arbitration institutions active in India (foreign administered LCIA and SIAC arbitrations and Indian institutions like MCIA and others).
