Description

Parties to international commercial disputes in the insolvency area are increasingly turning to mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms as an efficient and cost-effective means of resolving their differences. This panel will focus on the mediation process from the perspective of experienced mediators, as well as clients involved in domestic and cross-border insolvency disputes. The panel will also address the types of controversies that are most susceptible to resolution through mediation and the receptivity of various jurisdictions to the use of mediation and other ADR procedures to resolve disputes.
