Description
In this roundtable session, the moderator will ask the panellists to explain the IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest in International Arbitration and related practical issues. The panellists will explore the background and necessity of the introduction of these guidelines, and clarify which substantive clauses PRC lawyers are less familiar with, as well as the significance of those clauses.
The session will focus on situations that would lead to conflicts of interest, as well as the standards for arbitrators' impartiality and independence in international arbitration and their disclosure obligations.
