Description

Building on the idea of mediation as an alternative to arbitration, this session will discuss the how and why of mediation clauses in bilateral investment treaties. Panellists will explore the use of mediation in investor-state disputes in practice, with reference to the 2012 IBA Rules for Investor-State Mediation.
