Description
The participants of this session will discuss and analyse the legal framework of a highly integrated manufacturing process in their respective jurisdictions. The session will start with a short presentation of a mock case from the automotive industry. The case describes how the manufacturers of a complex system and its parts intend to set up an AI supported IoT-structure through which the ordering of production and spare parts will run between different companies and their subsidiaries in various countries inside and outside the EU without manual interference. In roundtable discussions, the participants will deal with the various legal questions arising from this case, in particular IT and data matters as well as liability.
