A webinar presented by the India Working Group of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum.

Following landmark decisions of the Competition Commission of India and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on the conduct of Big Tech, recent amendments to the Indian competition law aimed at ‘killer acquisitions’ and the formation of a government committee to consider ex-ante regulation of Big Tech in India, this panel will discuss the impact of these developments on doing business in India for domestic and multi-national companies. The panel will also offer attempts at ‘crystal ball gazing’ based on experiences from Australia, Germany and South Korea where the authorities and legislature have had an interventionist approach.
