Biography

As the General Counsel of Paf I'm heading the Legal & Compliance department, consisting of 7 persons. Me and my team’s work is to advice and support the organization in various legal matters with a clear focus to enable the organization to take well-balanced business decisions having the legal challenges in mind. This is an exciting and challenging task where I think the most important skill for a company lawyer is the ability to weigh in commercial interest in the legal assessments and keep the holistoc perspective, a skill that I have developed during my years as a corporate counsel in Paf. My daily tasks consist mainly of reviewing, negotiating and writing agreements, legal considerations and assessments primarily in the areas of marketing and intellectual property law, EU-related matters and compliance including contacts with controlling bodies. I also deal with lobbying and business intelligence relating to legal developments especially in the online gaming and e-commerce sector. I’m a member of Paf’s Group Management since 2014 and secretary of the Board since 2016.
