Biography

Jesse Yeo is the head of the Corporate legal group at Advance, where she is an Executive Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel. In addition to being the lead counsel on M&A and other strategic transactions, the Corporate group Ms. Yeo leads is responsible for corporate governance and advises the Advance and its affiliates on various financing, compliance, and other corporate matters. Prior to joining Advance, Jesse was at Tribune Media Company and Sony Corporation America, where she was the lead transaction lawyer on a number of material M&A transactions and strategic partnerships and worked directly with the senior executive team and the board of directors on matters relating to corporate strategy, corporate governance, compliance, securities reporting, IP monetization and investor relations. Jesse spent over 10 years at international law firms, Ropes & Gray and Simpson Thacher & Barlett, representing strategic companies and private equity clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other significant corporate matters, including cross-border transactions, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, and joint ventures.
