Biography

Alfredo D’Aniello is a Corporate & M&A Partner of the Italian law Firm Gianni & Origoni and member of the M&A Steering Committee of the Firm. Alfredo is expert in corporate and M&A transactions and advises on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including strategic business combinations, cross-border transactions, leveraged buyouts and other private equity sponsor-led transactions, tender offers, joint ventures, and other corporate matters. Alfredo’s practice has crossed multiple sectors and, since joining the Firm, Alfredo has worked on some of the largest corporate and M&A transactions in Italy. Alfredo joined the Firm in 2000 and became Partner in 2011. He was a Foreign Associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York in 2005-2006. He graduated in Law maxima cum laude from the University of Naples “Federico II” and then completed his education with courses in Corporate Finance and Global Banking in London and Berlin in 2001/2002 and with a course in 2006 in Corporate Finance and Accounting at the New York University – School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He speaks Italian and English.
