Biography

Over the past years, I have been working at the Single Resolution Board (SRB), an EU agency dealing with banking resolution. I am a Member of the Legal Service working on the resolvability of banks, crisis management and financial stability matters with a focus on the legal design and defensibility of regulatory measures in cross-border contexts. I previously gained experience in international arbitration at a US law firm in Paris and hold an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS, Geneva), as well as an M.Sc. in Banking and Finance Law. My professional and academic interests focus on arbitration involving financial institutions, regulatory measures and complex disputes, and the interaction between public law frameworks and private dispute resolution. My publications include articles in peer-reviewed journals on the relationship between arbitration and bank resolution and case notes and commentary. I actively engage with arbitration and banking communities and am particularly interested in collaborative projects exploring dispute prevention, regulatory-driven disputes, and arbitration involving financial and systemic risk. I am a Greek-qualified lawyer and a solicitor in England & Wales. I speak English and Greek, have working proficiency in French and passive knowledge of Spanish and German.
