Geoffrey A Manne

Biography

Geoffrey Manne is the founder and executive director of the International Center for Law and Economics (ICLE), a nonprofit, nonpartisan research center. He is an expert in the economic analysis of law, specializing in competition, telecommunications, consumer protection, intellectual property, and technology policy. Mr. Manne is a distinguished fellow at Northwestern Law School’s Searle Center on Law, Regulation, & Economic Growth. In 2017, he was appointed to the FCC’s Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee. With former FTC Commissioner, Joshua Wright, Mr. Manne is the editor of "Competition Policy & Intellectual Property Law Under Uncertainty: Regulating Innovation." Mr. Manne earned JD and AB degrees from the University of Chicago.
