Biography

Andrey Goltsblat is Managing Partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP (until 2018 – Goltsblat BLP) and Senior Partner, Corporate, M&A, Investment Projects. Andrey concentrates primarily on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, joint ventures and different types of investment projects, as well as counselling directors and senior management of domestic and overseas companies on investments and deal structuring in Russia and the CIS. He also represents clients in major complex litigations and before government authorities at all levels. Andrey has a wealth of experience working as legal counsel to a number of Russian and foreign Fortune 500 companies and corporations. He represents clients within the Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC) under the Russian Government. Prior to becoming a commercial lawyer in 1993, Andrey was Chief of Staff for the Constitutional Commission of the Russian Parliament. He made a major contribution to the drafting of the Russian Constitution. He was awarded the medal of the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation
