Biography

Benjamin J. A. Sauter focuses on government enforcement defense and private disputes involving alleged fraud, with particular experience in disputes involving digital currency. He has extensive experience throughout Asia, and regularly represents clients in the financial services industry in enforcement actions brought by international authorities, and also leads asset tracing and recovery initiatives to recover misappropriated digital currency. He recently represented a private plaintiff in tracing and freezing stolen digital currency, and secured a judgment for three times the amount taken. He is a member of the Digital Currency & Ledger Defense Coalition and is a thought leader on regulatory enforcement in the digital currency space.
