James Klotz
Biography
James M. Klotz is Chair of Canadian law firm Miller Thomson LLP’s Anti-Corruption and International Governance Group, and Co-Chair of the firm’s International Business Transactions Group. He is an integrity specialist, providing governance advice to large corporations and organizations both in Canada and abroad. From 2011-2014, he was a member of the Independent Governance Committee of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), serving as one of its experts in the field of governance and compliance. From 2013-2017, he was a member of the Allard Prize Advisory Board for the Allard Prize for International Integrity, the global bi-annual $100,000 award, and he is a past-President and Chairman of the Board of Transparency International Canada Inc. (2009-2012). James is listed in the current editions of the International Who’s Who of Investigations Lawyers, and “Canada’s Best Lawyers”, and has received the Ontario Bar Association’s Award of Excellence in International Law. He was elected Vice-President of the International Bar Association for a two year term commencing January 1, 2019.
