Description

Australia and New Zealand have been undertaking a significant volume of major projects: renewing ageing infrastructure, catching up on a backlog of constrained delivery of infrastructure for many decades and responding to the effects of natural disasters. Such projects consume significant resources and have long delivery times. They are often launched with fanfare and excitement. But are the objectives of building this infrastructure achieved? Does the community get real value for money? Are we improving in our delivery of such projects or do we learn the same lessons over and over again? The panellists will speak about their own experiences of many of these projects and share their insights as to how we can improve the delivery of major infrastructure.
