Session 3: The new normal – the digitally-driven law firm of the future

Friday 16 November (1130 - 1330)

Committee(s)

Law Firm Management Committee

Description

It is clear that emerging digital technologies are transforming legal services. New kinds of businesses are emerging to deliver legal services to clients and conventional law firms are facing unprecedented pressures to refocus their strategies and transform their business models. Yet much of the technology currently deployed in law firms is used to automate tasks that lawyers have always performed, within existing business models. Will we see new technologies emerge in the next three to seven years that offer radically new ways of meeting client legal needs?
