Description

TOPIC 2 – New pricing strategies – how do you recoup your investment in technology? This panel discussion will explore how law firms might go about achieving acceptable returns on their investment in technology. How do their pricing strategies need to change when work product is generated and delivered to clients using technology alone, or a combination of technology and human effort? What options exist for funding technology? What are the implications of some legal services moving away from a conventional advisory model, to a platform-driven and/or subscription model? What are the implications for the ‘billable hour’? How can firms design and agree new arrangements that are acceptable to both clients and firms? What impact will these changes have on other parts of a law firm’s business?
