The MeToo movement, triggered by sexual misconduct scandals that swept through Hollywood in 2017, has now evolved into a broader rallying cry for women's equality and influence in society.

In this podcast, diversity champions from across the legal profession assess the cultural and structural changes needed to tackle the longstanding barriers facing women lawyers.

Areas examined include improvements to the overall working environment, the importance of sponsorship programmes, the role of men in achieving change, and the lessons that can be learned from in-house lawyers.

Discussing the issues are: Farmida Bi, Chair of Norton Rose Fulbright; Chris Watson, Global Head of the Technology, Media and Communications Group at CMS; Christina Blacklaws, President of the Law Society; Kiran Sharma, Co-Head of Ropes & Gray's International Practice Group; Nick Turner of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Group at Herbert Smith Freehills; and Funke Abimbola, former General Counsel at Roche UK.
