A webinar presented by the IBA Taxes Committee

The world of taxation, which has traditionally been a domain of individual jurisdictions’ sovereign power, is converging. No country is free from the influence of its trading partners and the impact of tax policies at an international level. This panel will explore key developments around the globe, such as the OECD pillars and its side-by-side approach, as well as nearshoring and other realignments of supply and distribution channels in response to tariff and trade frictions ignited by the Trump regime. Further, this panel will discuss, through the perspective of Asian countries, how a tax policy initiative taken by one part of the world is affecting the rest of the world.
