Eduardo Silva Romero

Biography

Eduardo is the co-head of Dechert’s International arbitration practice. He focuses on disputes involving States and state entities. Eduardo has advised on ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, AAA, and the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce arbitrations. Prior to joining Dechert, Eduardo was Deputy Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. In addition to his work as counsel, Eduardo acts as an arbitrator. He has acted as arbitrator in more than 100 arbitration cases. Eduardo is consistently named among the world’s leading international arbitration practitioners by prominent directories and surveys. He lectures on arbitration at universities in Europe and Latin America, and has published dozens of books on international arbitration.
