A webinar presented by the Young Litigators' Forum of the IBA Litigation Committee
Pre-action negotiations are gaining importance in litigation, following the pandemic, as clients look to resolve disputes quickly rather than get involved in protracted litigation.
This webinar will share universal techniques for negotiation and conflict resolution, while also educating on how different legal systems approach early case alternative dispute resolution - with speakers from Canada, India, Russia and the United Kingdom.
The keynote speaker is Dr Andreas Hacke, Visiting Lecturer at Oxford University's Faculty of Law and partner at Zwanzig, Hacke Meilke & Partners, Dusseldorf, who will discuss skills and techniques for effective negotiations.
Participants will also gather in small breakout groups to meet other practioners from around the world and compare notes.
