A webinar presented by the IBA Women Lawyers' Interest Group
In this webinar, panellists will discuss different diversity policies that firms are implementing, and whether they are having the expected impact. They’ll be considering both the wellbeing and career development of younger lawyers, with a strong focus on women attorneys.
McKinsey’s 2017 Women in Law study found that while firms are taking important steps to increase gender equality, success has been very limited. It is key for firms to listen to the younger crowds. This session will consider whether the right policies are being implemented, whether firms are expecting something else and whether it’s the culture that is lacking rather than the policies.
