A webinar presented by the IBA Oil and Gas Law Committee
This webinar will explore how oil and gas operators could work to embed carbon competitiveness in tenders and contractual requirements (supplier qualification, bid evaluation, standard contract terms and conditions), including amending templates and standard terms and conditions to cover suppliers’ commitment to reduce their GHG emissions.
This is part of a series of webinars hosted by the IBA Oil and Gas Committee focused on the energy transition of the oil and gas sector. This webinar has three speakers and will follow a simple format in three steps: (i) discuss the opportunities for organisations in the sector to align their environmental objectives and their contractual relationships with suppliers and why it is relevant for the sector, (ii) legal / contractual) issues to be addressed in this area and (ii) what the IBA lawyers could do to help progress this important topic.
