A webinar presented by the IBA Law Firm Management Committee and supported by the IBA Women Lawyers’ Committee
Having rainmaking skills and the ability to develop one’s own practice allows a lawyer to work with the type of clients and matters that appeal to them. It also gives them a greater say in how they orchestrate their work/home balance, opens up additional leadership positions within a firm and leads to a wider range of career opportunities. Yet women who lack the role models or guidance that men may receive, or others who lack confidence, will have a greater challenge in cultivating a book of business.
We will bring together an experienced panel of women lawyers from around the globe. Together we will discuss:
- how these incredible lawyers built their practice;
- their real-world advice to other women lawyers who are trying to do the same; and
- what role every law firm can play in helping women build their practices.
The aim of the webinar is to provide real-world help that will make a difference and to help level the playing field for women and other minority groups. It’s a mission we feel passionately about supporting.
